On Sunday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu laid the foundation stone for the auditorium at Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College in Hamirpur. This event took place at the new campus located in Jol Sapper, within the Nadaun Assembly Constituency of Hamirpur district. The auditorium will be built at a cost of ₹37 crores. Additionally, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation for the Principal’s residence at the college.
During the visit, Chief Minister Sukhu inspected the ongoing construction of the medical college. He gave necessary instructions to the administration to ensure the work progresses smoothly. The target for completing the construction of the medical college is set for March 31, 2026.
